i can't say that kimimaro is a favorite of mine, but you really made me think about him. even though he does such horrible things, he's still just a person who loves like anyone else.

"Heart trouble, the doctor would say. That and lung cancer is what killed him - but mostly the heart trouble." that really stood out to me, for some reason.

i really, really liked this! it was very haunting, and i love your style. It really fits both Itachi and Kimimaro as they are two of the most disturbed and tragic characters in the series. Plus i love your AU.

The saddest thing about Kimimaro, I think, is that, despite the fact he can be so cold, such an efficent killer, he's very much capable of love, and that love is always so very tragic.

You did such a wonderful job of capturing his character. And I don't think I've ever mentioned this before, but I love the imagery in your stories; I've always got such vivid images in my head. You also do a great job conveying emotions without having to say 'he felt happy' or some other such boring phrase.

That was excellent. The words flowed so well, and I couldn't stop reading it! It's a really original idea, too. Wonderful job! I applaud you! ^^
