Descriptions, nice.

Flashback, really nice.

Emotions, at their highest.

Everything else there's master-- GAH! No one likes that joke!! I- I just wish I had something else to say. But the choice of words escape me. See! They're escaping right now! Out my window!

Ah-HA! I've managed to capture "amazing" and "brilliant"! I've also got some words to form this sentence; I absolutely cannot wait to read moar!

... Just, like everyone else... Le sigh. I'm so unoriginal...

Cloves, eh? Always preferred the straight-up carcinogens myself, but we all gotta choose our poison. Like cheddar biscuits. And "My brain functions plus Chardonnay brings out the retard in me" is nearly, nearly a haiku.

Seems Wakko has turned into a quiet, sensitive, nihilistic hermit who ironically had his worst fears realized by confronting his fears. Chapter 6 has a good flow and a good cliffhanger, and I will read more tomorrow!

You’re right about anything a modicum above mindlessness being scrapped or lambasted from all sides, whether it be in television, music, movies, books, you name it. Seems more and more, we have to turn to things created in the past just to find what our souls crave. Souls aren’t bland, they aren’t politically correct, they aren’t one-toned, they aren’t censored, so why the hell should Art, in all its varied forms, be toned down for the masses? Where the hell did “Art for Art’s Sake” go? We become antiquarians just to find a few good books, a couple of great albums, maybe a few good flickering images on a screen. You eventually take to looking under proverbial rocks for all the artists-in-hiding; they’re out there, but you have to dig to find them.
Weird about TV, ain’t it? You go without it for a few weeks, and when you finally turn it on again, it’s like you’re in a trance. I tend to be more like Wakko when it comes to clubs; drunk people grinding amidst bad remixes of good songs, foul-ass dudes leering and spilling drinks all over you – yeah, thanks, but no. I’m glad Wakko isn’t judgmental about Dot’s mistakes because really, that’s the last things she needs in her situation. He seems to instinctively know that she’s a good chick who fell in with some bad company, made a few bad choices, but she’s smart enough to recognize what went wrong. He also seems to understand she’s still teetering on the edge of going back to that life, and probably would have if it hadn’t been for him. I’ve never read a piece where Wakko is actually the STEADYING force in the Warners’ relationship, so it’s certainly a refreshing perspective. And Wakko – experimental in, um, relations? Hysterical, loving it.

Will read more when the ol’ ocular orbs stop their bitching (out of practice for looking at a comp screen).

I have to tell you, the only good part about Moving Day is finally having access to the internet again after 6 months, and getting to catch up with some new stories and old favorites! I've only read a couple of chapters thus far but am so enjoying this that I wanted to review sooner rather than later.

I adore seeing an author's take on post-stardom Warners, and I especially love seeing when an author takes a chance on placing the characters out of their, and perhaps the audience's, comfort zones. It speaks volumes about the maturity of the writing style to be able to effectively tackle this kind of material in a way that is both interesting enough to keep the reader engaged, but also endearing enough to allow the reader to invest emotionally in the author's version of the characters. You've passed on both counts, so kudos there!

Dot's transient lifestyle is believable and explores all sorts of facets to her character, and the introduction to Wakko's life also caught me in several ways. When you described the parties where everyone is totally strung out, I couldn't help but smile; I've been to a few of those, and had about the same reaction as Dot - "What a waste of time!" Finding rides home with people you barely know, walking down dangerous streets at night, couch surfing, being surrounded by druggies - if any of your readers, like myself, have ever had to live like that it only makes the connection to these characters stronger. Also, like Wakko, I'm an insomniac and know EXACTLY how he feels.

I'm excited to read further to find out more about the Warners past and how exactly things got to this point, also to read your version of Yakko. Like I said, I love the types of stories that don't paint flattering portraits of the characters - life isn't always nice and neat, and the characters can't be either. Stories of redemption are some of the most powerful forms of literature we have, and for that reason I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this.

I really liked this chapter. Though I wanted to see the plot move forward, the flashback more than made up for it. Really well done. C=

(Wow, what a pathetic review for such a great chapter...sorry. TT_TT I've been so distracted lately. Just know that it was really good.)

Great chapter, as always. The flashback was wonderfully done; cool background for Dot's current problems.

Keep the good writing.

Finely written chapter, this one. Good description and the plot is moving along nicely at an even pace. I'm rather excited now that it's picked up and I'm wondering what kinda of twists and turns you're plotting if any.

Wonderful little flash back with Dot and Yakko. That made me happy. You're improving immensely. See I told you that you had potential and talent. I knew investing some time into you would be worth it.

Love your take on Betty and Koko, much amusement there.

I do hope you keep this up, but I know you've got other things on your mind and pressuring you is by far the worst thing anyone could do. YOU HEAR THAT, YOU OTHER REVIEWERS? I guarantee you every time she sees a review demanding that she update sooner and faster the more likely she is to dream about dismembering you!

Sorry Tash ;P my temper, you know. *hug* keep it up, kiddo

I love that I can imagine perfectly all the scenes you write. No matter what the feel or setting, in any of the 'fics you've done, you give me a really good picture of what's happening.

After all the anger and bitterness between Yakko and Wakko, it felt really good that they were united again. Working together to accomplish something beyond themselves.

And Koko...hehe, the character you gave him is just awesome. Kinda reminds me of Stork, if he lived alone. ^^

So. You workin' on that next chapter yet?
