i was reading this, and then that song started to play on my itunes... weird. i love jax (or judewell, whatever), and while this wasn't particularly unique compared to the many others i've read, the writing was certainly good-quality. my only "criticism" is that i think you should have rated it m.

Guh, this was brilliant! I love fics covering the pre-Lucy period. I was always under the impression that the time in NYC was where Jude grew to realize that he "loved the bugger". What made him realize this? I think your fic totally covered an interesting theory. ;) Some shippers have mentioned that the NYC time would have been the most probable time for any sex, and this fic was a really interesting spin on that. I like how it's so forbidden and therefore sacred for them - it's not just mindless **, they're taking their time for some psychological reason. I love it!

I hope that you will one day write that full sex scene - you clearly have the ability to write some very hot stuff. I hope to see more Max/Jude from you!

I really did like this, i believe that it was well written and i think you should have given the slash sex a shot, at least you'll never know until you try.

However my only complaint is could you please place a warning about sexual content, or switch this to the M section.
