Ah, man! I love the Haru/Baron pairing. And I love this story. But I hate Louise! You do a really good job of making me hate her. I never liked her really, but it's much more so now.

Your death seems a little too human to me and not so much 'out-of-this-world' like he should. I also find it strange that he would try to enact revenge for Baron and Haru winning a game against him. In the old folklore, (I think, it's been a while) it was difficult to cheat death, but once a game is won against him, fairly I think, then he would leave the winner alone until the next time around. Since Death is supposedly patient, why would he be impatient and go after Baron?

For the story's sake, I can understand, but I still think that Death should be semi-omniscient. This not knowing supernatural being thing doesn't seem right.

Earlier in the chapter, you mentioned the fact that Haru and Chihiro have the same colored hair. Were you trying to insinuate that the two are related? Also, I'll assume that you have a purpose for crossing the two movies. I'm curious as to why Louise is trying to infiltrate Chihiro's life, and how it will help her cause.
