Oh my; this story keeps getting better. And it is sad to see that Flame Gust is no longer a friend to most of the foals, especially Gray Hoof. But some friends change over the years sometimes without an explanation. Poor Gray Hoof. I hope he never gets left behind by the herd, even if he is different. I wonder what will happen in the next chapter now that it looks like the foals are in trouble for disobeying an order. Take your time to work through the next chapter if you need to. I'll be waiting. :)

Wow, this story just keeps getting better and more interesting. I feel sorry for Gray Hoof still feeling a bit of homesickness in him. It's not easy getting used to a new life for most of us. And poor Virgnia. It seems she hates her new home already due to an unkind owner and three rude colts, but at least not all of them are like that. I hope she'll stay with Brenna for as long as she can. But if something bad happens, I hope somehow Virginia will find a way out. It sounds like she is starting to have feelings for Gray Hoof.

Now with Powerful Wolf knowing about the foal, I'm curious to know how else he plans to destroy Gray Hoof. Good job on this chapter. And don't worry if you're having trouble with names, take your time.

Hey glad to see an update to this chapter. It is so nice to know that Lazarus or should I say Gray Hoof is getting along better with the foals of the River Herd now that they are kind enough to treat him like family. Although I sometimes think about what the cruel humans are up to, I guess it doesn't matter; as long as Gray Hoof isn't with them anymore. But now that the Tornado Herd has found out about a donkey living with a herd of mustangs, this could spell trouble for Gray Hoof as I am a bit worried for him. Good job, I can't wait for the next chapter.

I've finally got through your long chapters lol

Hooray an update. I'm so glad Lazarus finally made it to the River Herd who were kind enough to accept him. And it's amazing how some of the horses have known about donkeys to be treated unfairly by the humans. And it seems things are bright for Lazurus. Or should I say Gray Hoof? Well now that he is apart of the herd, I have this feeling that there will be times when he'll make a few mistakes while growing accustomed to the mustangs, but even if he does, those mistakes will help him to learn through. Then again, I wonder how the humans will be doing now that he is out of their sight. Hope they don't discover the River Herd. And I can't wait to see how the Tornado Herd will react to seeing a donkey living amongst mustangs. Take your time to update soon.

Wow, that was a great chapter. And I loved it when those mustangs were able to save Lazarus from a terrible punishment from those humans. Hope he finds the rest of the River Herd where they will protect him from harm. Now I wonder what will happen if that other rival herd finds out about him. I get the feeling that Lazarus may be safe for now with the herd, but there might be trouble from either the rival herd or the same cruel humans later as the story goes on. But who knows? Good job, can't wait to see what happens next.

Yay for Lazarus! It's nice to finally see that he stood up to those cruel humans and escaped with his life. In truth, no other animal (smart or dumb) deserves to live on a home like that. He might not have survived any longer if he were there for more than a day. And its so sad that the horses were unkind and taught to hate creatures like him. I felt bad for Lazarus when he got whipped eighty times and finally snapped. Now I can just imagine him wandering in the wilderness until the herd takes pity on him and tends to his opened wounds. Well, I can't wait for the next chapter, so good luck.
