Amazing! I can understand that Raito also wants attention, like when he said in volume one that he wants the world to know of his existence. And I also like how L likes Raito when he's honest about his emotions. You're amazing in both one-shots and serialized fics!

The way you depict L's feelings toward Light really pulls my heart strings. I adore the touching desciption and intriguing characterization. You potray L as an ordinary young man who can feel emotion such as love, and don't treat him as emotionless person with no interest for affection.

And good job for explaining the meaning of L's exixtence in Light's presence...because if Light were not Kira, L would be no one to think about, ne? You get the atmosphere right without being too complicated. What can I say? I truly your writing style, seriously, and can't wait for reading about Light's part too. This fic is worth reading, especially for us who miss all Light/L interactions, don't we? *cackles*

You know, I really like this one. This one, and 'Obscurity'. They really highlight something that most romances totally ignore: that no matter what, it's really impossible to know what another person is feeling, that all a person (even a genius) has to guess with is the outer reactions of a person.
I also really like the way you've connected the two of them through the last line, and how each of them end up thinking the same thing because Matsuda spilled some tea. (I'm not even really sure where I was going with that, or why it's so cool, but it is)
So yeah, I really like the fic(s). More, please.

Oh,wow,this is great! I love the quote at the beginning so much, I think it sums up their relationship perfectly!

The angst is beautifully written. And I love the irony when you read this piece as well as Obscurity. I think it's good that you weren't afraid to get sort of emotional with a very hard-to-read character, because it didn't come off as OOC at all and L is very hard to write.

It's the little details that really make this story, you know, the tea stain and that sort of thing.

My heart clenchs when I read this fic- I can feel L's PAIN.

I was in the middle of typing a page long review (my first one in, like, ever….review that is, not page long) and my computer died and took my review with it. I was originally going to not type it up again but trust me, this is long over due. First of all you’re probably my favorite author of Death Note fanfiction (you wrote my favorite story too, Memento Mori, and I am very, very, very, very sorry that I never reviewed it). Every one of your stories, weather it's a one-shot or chaptered, holds humor, angst, and a wonderful, wonderful (I love you so much for making them up) plot. Basically all of them are filled with magnificentness, XD. My favorite lines in Illumination:

"like a scar that is so old it is mistaken for a birthmark." Oh god, this description so much

"So I get Watari to bring you a change, and then I shall allow you to change pants in front of me -not because I am a ‘pervert’ as Amane-san so eloquently put it - but because, really, who knows what you could be hiding in your pants? The killing device even!

Sometimes even I think I lie too much." - I completely started to laugh out loud at this one.
