Hi, I found this story via the fanfictin self-plug thread on the Writer's Anonymous forum. (just thought you might want to know if people look at it there.) Anyway, I enjoyed the story. I actually know both the fandoms, although obviously it's been a long time since I've seen either of them.

I thought the plot idea was great, only I think I would have liked it even more if you would have stuck with one pov per scene. I think it would have made it feel like the reader was right there with the character. Jumping around tends to rip the reader away from that character and it can be jarring.

Overall, though, I liked it and it's especially nice to read a story that is from a fandom that I at least know.

I'd never guess this was your first foray into this fandom, Dayna. Always a pleasure to see Phineas "crossover" especially pre-Jeffrey.

No real criticism. The reader needs to be familiar with the show to know Barry, Bear and Baricza are all the same person. Dialog was good. Descriptions in the flashback were amazing. Overall, an enjoyable read. Looking forward to seeing more!

Great story, poor Jon reliving is war days, you did a great job showing what he was seeing and feeling.

You obviously have a good grasp of the Police "10" codes. The communication between Baker and central dispatch is excellent, right on the money. I watched CHIPs the whole time it was on the air. I don't ever recall there being a story involving an earthquake. I think it would have been more than appropriate for the series since it was based in Los Angeles. I love the part where Bogg plays his commanding officer in an attempt to calm him. What an ingenious idea. While I have read many "crossover" stories in the past and have never really been fond of them, I have to say I'm really impressed by this one. You did a great job and Jon's flashbacks to Vietnam and his ordeal with Bogg are absolutely great! Good Job!

That was a great story. It's been a while since I read a really good CHIPs story, but that was definitely one of them1

Dayna, this story was jammed pack with some angst, huh! It was a surprising twist with Jon being the "red light." Easy to follow flow of Past & Present btw. Nice Job :-)

Wow Dayna! I didn't realize this story was going to be here, but it is truly a CHiPs story more than Voyagers. This plot was so intense! You really melded the two shows together. It was brilliant how Phineas had to save poor Jon in Vietnam. A whole lot of angst! I am not one for war tales, but this had me in suspense and it was so cool to see Bogg use that Guidebook for once! I liked that you gave 'Bear' more to do in this, lol. Ponch and Jon are my faves, along with Bear and Grossie. Look forward to your next story in this fandom.

I think it was nice to see Bogg before Jeff the gidebook comes in handy .
