Did you eat something that disagreed with you last night?’ A Chinese take out and Danny and they agreed with me just fine. I loved all of this - it was a lesson in taking the overworked (g'ma's ring) and making it fresh and funny (His Grandmother had enjoyed her food and had the figure to prove it.) This hit all the right notes and was a wonderful little exercise in misdirection and characterization. I hope you find more fluffy little drabbles (do you think they breed under the sofa with your dust bunnies? Maybe that's where I should be looking!) |
