J Luc Pitard 2008-12-28 . chapter 1Scary Sarah! Poor Jareth's forced to watch it all come down. My only wish is that there's be more to her motivation than power, or if only power, that more context be given. But that being said, I enjoyed it. |
orientalbunny 2008-12-04 . chapter 1*writes on post it note: never mess with Danika*
Wow, Danika, when I read the title here I thought it was going to be a satirical piece like "oh no not another love story" and you would rip romantic cliches apart, not goblins. I was like Gah! and engrossed and fascinated and horrified all at once. This was well written, I am like in awe of you, and well, just a teeny bit afraid too. Thank you! |
 Fabricated Revolution 2008-10-23 . chapter 10.0
That was intense... I'm a little freaked out.
Having read enough of your stories to see the sweet fluff to the utter darkness... I'm impressed. It says a lot to be able to write such in so many genres.
I loved it, and hated it all at once. I find myself to be pretty dark in my own writing, but I'm a definite romantic, and there was something in this story... it shook me.
The fact that you can elicit so many strong responses in your readers is again very impressive. I am once again reminded that if I ever saw the inside of your mind... I probably wouldn't survive it.
I love you, keep up the good work! |
blurrybrains and Freddy 2008-06-25 . chapter 1Okay, that's just scary. I like a mean Jareth, but a mean Sarah is just too much for my simple being. Good story, though. |
Lacessit 2008-06-01 . chapter 1I think for me to properly review this, I just need to tell you that afterwards, I clutched the collar of my shirt, leaned back in my chair, and let out a big, Joey Lawrence in Blossom: Whoah!
That was amazing! Seriously, so many authors have Sarah pegged as this sweet, wholesome girl who is constantly corrupted by Jareth.
Thank you for having the balls to do something different! |
 Thunder S Silence 2008-05-24 . chapter 1o.o ...That is frightening... |
Madamoiselle La Lune 2008-03-04 . chapter 1lol. wow she want a crazy a little. |
Silvanus16 2008-03-03 . chapter 1 Err... okay... I guess. It's a twist you don't usually see, in fact, I think this exploratory piece was very morbid and a tad gratuitous.
I honestly think it would benefit the readers tremendously to know what snapped in Sarah's brain to make her do this.
I will say this, and it's not a criticism (in fact it's a compliment) but this severely ** me off. I am a Jareth fan through and through, and seeing him fall so quickly was not good for my blood pressure. That being said, well done in eliciting the response from your readers. I'm sure I'm not the only one whose buttons this story tap danced on. |
Anij 2008-03-02 . chapter 1I'd like to say this was either a sugar overdose or a really bad nightmare. It's probably neither.
I think you've been reading my mind, though, as I see hints of things I've not published yet. I guess that's what I get for telling you where I live! :)
Good for you, on this one. It gets boring reading nothing but romance all the time. |
Lixxle 2008-02-29 . chapter 1AHH! AH! AH!! It burns!!
Man, you were serious about that title, weren't you, you evil genius you?
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and have a good stiff drink and watch some Disney till I feel better. |
MarbleGlove 2008-02-28 . chapter 1Well, that's a reversal. I've never seen this particular take on matters before. Not my favorite perspective but well done. |
Kadasa-Mori 2008-02-28 . chapter 1Oh... my... god... When I read the title I was like "ah ha. Love story!" but... zomg! this was not. This was awesome and incredible but still very gruesome and disturbing...
Gwah... brain can still not wrap around it...
Awesome job! |
guardian forever 2008-02-28 . chapter 1one word... ew.
but actually, I thought this was well written and worth a review just for being unique! |
notwritten 2008-02-27 . chapter 1What a story. Very different from what you uusally write. Amazing. Keep smiling my friend. :-) |
 Skyrere 2008-02-27 . chapter 1UNHOLY!
Disturbing was right...
(shudders)
