I think this was actually the perfect time to add this chapter. It is really refreshing to be in Todd's mind for a bit. I like that you still keep his past mysterious though.

This was a very wonderful story. The realistic features and suspenseful chapters tied with the lovely plot made this an enjoyable read. I loved it!!

I must admit I never really liked Anthony in the film, but now I will never be able to watch it with the same response.

You know what's crazy? I've been reading this story forever- loved it, despite the fact it's a genre I usually don't read and contains pairings I'd never dreamt I'd support, not to mention it killed off my favorite canon character-- and not only all that, but it ends on the first anniversary of a "long and rambling" fanfic *I* wrote (mine was only supposed to be one chapter, then five, and I wound up with 13!)

In short, this story was awesome, you have a gift for wordcraft-- you also made a real *story* out of this, instead of just writing random Anthony/Todd **. My friend and I literally used to email each other, "Compensation got updated!" all excited and shushed each other whenever either of us had read it before the other.

I was just reading this last night, for the millionth time since it is such a great story, and then today I saw you posted another chapter and you have no idea how happy I was! This story is without a doubt my favorite fan fiction of all time. So well written, you really captured the characters wonderfully. I do hope you write more Sweeney/Anthony in the future, you did so well with this and lord knows there's not nearly enough Sweeney/Anthony out there! Wow. This was really lovely. I didn't start reading until a month ago or so; whrn I got to where the story took a turn away from canon and into AU it was like a huge weight was lessened -- and I'm so glad they got a happy ending. It's as if this is how it was supposed to happen, and the plot of the musical and movie was some horrible mistake of fate. Thank you for spending the time to write this.
