Reallyreally brilliant. I mean I totally felt sorry for Noel. But this was so good that I'd have felt sorry even if it's been Truman (and *that's* saying something.) It's so heartbreaking. Minimal use of names (I dunno why but I always really like that), second person POV (which I used in my graduation speech *thank you fanfiction!* but I'm still to try it out.) And after reading this, I totally feel like writing something like this (because heck, it's really good)

And they do notice each other so much, don't they. I think that's why all of us never got off LWD even when Sally came into the picture, because Derek and Casey have this between-the-lines thing going on that totally makes up for everything else.

Oh, and Mike ships Dasey. I'm sure, his expressions are so totally worth *sqeeing* over and dying for!

totally true. I can't they brought Demily in (that's what I heard, I havent seen where) I thought they'd leave an open end :( But heck we have fanfiction, and anyone who can hear/see knows that Dasey goes beyond the plots that the writers keep bringing in to keep in all familial.

Poor poor Noel! This is just gorgeous - I think you did a great job of capturing the dynamic between all three characters - and I felt for all of them. I love the little touches you put in that really *show* how things stand - like Derek giving Casey her exact change, or the way he 'forgets' Noel's order. Really lovely fic.

This was very beautifully written, and yes, it was definitily emotionally moving, that's for sure. You've done a great job with it.

aw, poor noel. i feel so bad for him, but i totally think that's how it's going to be when casey and noel finally hook up. :( i really do think she likes him, though, she just has this weird thing for derek..haha. oh well.

Oh it worked really well! I really really liked this. I thought it was Noel from the start, but wasn't sure until you told us. I agree with you on the liking him and him being under played so far.

I think Noel is such an awesome character. & stories w/ good portrayals of him are hard to find.

I know the point was to make you feel bad for noel, but i just can't quite do it. I feel for him, but he needs someone else. Casey and Derek are just meant to be. I will say in terms of writing it was fantastic. I loved it great job :)

I really did love this, it was soo well written that I just melted at every sentence.
At first I thought it was Max that Casey didn't love but later on I was just thinking 'wow Max really seems sweet...this doesn't seem right o_O' lol and when I realized it was Noel I just melted some more :P

Great story, I loved how you keep everyone in character even Noel (who deserves more time on life with derek) wonderful story!
