I loved this story aswell. i like reading stories about Mack as well, as there seem to be plenty mainly focused on Bob and Charles! Great writing again!:D

I particularly liked being transported to the inner mind of Colonel Ryan, living the story from his point of view; having his thoughts on Mack and Tiffy and his aloof, almost analytical, overview on his own life and previous marriages, even about the lost of his son. I like seeing this side of Mack - being a good dad, kinda playful. Like the interaction between he and Jamie. I'm liking her. You sure she's Tiffy's sister?

I can really see Jonas saying some of those lines. Good amount of detail to visualize and keep the story moving.

Good job on the mission. I'm buying it. Like that you dropped in some backstory on Mack - very believeable. Don't like Tiffy and curious to see if there's a reason for a part about her sister.

Wow, it's been a while since we've seen a new Unit episode because of the strike and all -- hopefully there will be one soon! Until then, this story is great to tide one over!! You've really got the guys' characters nailed down -- and Tiffy's, Lissy's, and Jenny's too, I might add. I really like Jamie, even though at this point we don't know a lot about her yet. Leave it to Tiffy to mess up something as special as Mack and Jamie's relationship. Well, maybe now they'll have a second chance! Thanks, tlep! Write more soon!
