I like the idea. I've never played Pokemon myself, but I like 'em. This is an interesting look at them.

Seems a bit weird that the animated Vulpix would target someone in particular - but yay, I love fics with morphs in them. Interesting character background. If you shouldn't mess with foxes, why was she approaching it? Maybe she should have tried talking to it a bit first. Anyway. Bring on the doom.

Neat premise. You might want to use a spell checker - 'prologue', 'grabbed', and 'figurine' are all spelled like so. Otherwise, this is definitely interesting. I'm having a hard (but funny) time figuring out what a tiny Vulpix using confusion on a bedside lamp would look like... but making it burn a hole through the drawer makes a lot more sense.

I must say...quite interesting. For some reason, when that girl with the spiked collar was mentioned, Hanajima from Fruits Basket flashed into my head. I don't know why...

Anyway...lookin' forward to readin' more of this.
