that was one of the best sandman fanfic stories i've ever read. i loved it! the hitchhiker reference was cool, but blending it w/what just happened...for those that were affected, it might be comforting to imagine it this way. anyway, great job. the last guy who reviewed it was right. you SO should send this to vertigo, NOW, before someone else might try to steal it.

Oh, but do you have proverbial balls. To take something that has been dominating the news for an annoying 10 days and turn it into a fanfiction... You are totally my hero. This is a great bit of writing and you managed to capture the tast and feel of the character perfectly. You should sell this to Vertigo. They could use a well written story like this. Thank you for bringing it all in persepective.
