I don't know what exactly it is about the way you paint their relationship, but the dynamic is just about /perfect/. ♥

I really liked the way you characterized them and how they interact, even in just the space of a few hundred words at a time. There's this lingering sense of Agito's fear and Akito's more level-headed calm. I also really appreciated how you see little bits of Akito's intelligence here.

Cheers to Akito/Agito keeping interest alive in Air Gear (though recent chapters are making me very unhappy.:

Oh wow, I didn't expect to see such great fics, since air gear has such a small fanfic base.. but DAMN.

Akito kissing the mirror? I thought, "AUGHWTFISGOINGON??!" but that scene is so well executed. Love it love it love it

I make it a point to not add things to my favorites without leaving a review, but...
There are no words.
This is one of the most bittersweet things I have ever read. It hurts, to think that - yes, someday Ikki is bound to leave them behind. And Agito will disapear.
...I am usually so much more articulate than this, but I don't remember the last time a story has had me almost in tears by the end without me even being able to define /why/. I don't know if I ever have.

'Forever is how long this will never last' is now on my favorite quotes list. Because... just because.

I love how you write Agito and Akito interacting. Hee, and how Ikki affects the both of them, especially Agito, is just lovely. Great work with this!

Why don't people acknowledge the deep, multi-fauceted fics instead of those that obsess over the superficial aspects of characters? *complete indignation!* Anyways, what I'm trying to say is, the biggest reason why I love this fic is that without force, without exaggeration, without artificiality, you encompass the entirety of Akito (darker than most people give him credit for)and Agito (who has a capability to love that no one sees.) And it's all done with simple langauge that's all the more elegant in its only-straight-foward-in-its-delivery-but-shattering-in-its-implications poignancy. I was taken by surprise, but ultimately very touched, at how very invested BOTH of them are in Ikki--you know that "he's the main hero that touches everyone's lives!" thing in the manga? I didn't buy it there. I buy it here. It's just...sweet and breaking and shows so much deep understanding on your part, but the way it's written it becomes so completely and obviously right. I mean...wow.
