Fuck, you don't know how many times I've read and re-read this. It's just so freakin awesome, like one those things that make you feel happy and sad at the same time. I think you caught Light Per.fect.ly. Great fanfic!

This is a good story, and a very unique idea. I like how Light's Patronus takes the form of Ryuk. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Harry had written the name "Tom Riddle" on that piece of paper they found at the end...

Intriguing read. Love the balance between whether Harry really likes Light or is deathly afraid of him. Light is characterized perfectly, by the way.

Only thing to criticize you on is this. The last sentence lacks the particular oomph that is present throughout the entire story. Deleting that sentence and taking the second to last sentence and separating it from the last paragraph would have been perfect.

ie. "Harry is disappointed that for the first time a mystery remains unsolved at the end of the school year. He keeps the note in his pocket, folds and unfolds it so often it soon starts to fall apart at the creases, and thinks of Light Yagami with his golden glow and ageless face."

He decides on balance that he might have learnt more from the man than any of the other Defence teachers, and pretends to himself that he did because he wanted to and not because of the shiver of fear he felt on the back of his neck whenever the professor forgot people were watching."

But I still loved your work and all of the subtleness and blutness of it. Light is perfect in this. And even better, Harry is perfect in this. I have seen so many writers write both characters horribly out of character, and it annoyes me. Thank you for not doing so.

Beautiful piece. Keep giving us readers good ones.

I was rather wary of reading this when I saw that it was a crossover but since it's one of yours, I decided to give it a chance. I really like all the things that Light brings to Harry's mind, the thoughts of Good and Evil, the Basilisk and Gryffindor's sword... Light at the mirror of Erised was a great moment, same with what the room of requirement became for him. You incorporated Light into the Harry Potter universe so well it's like he almost could have really been a professor at Hogwarts, with the trio trying to solve his mystery. I liked it. :)

Wow. Just wow.
It was incredible; Death Note-esque and morbidly magical.

It brought a grin to my face reading it, great job, makes me want to rewatch the series in all it's intellectual horror.

Beautiful crossover, very...elegant. I liked seeing Light in Hogwarts from Harry's POV instead of Light's. I wonder where he went after that year? D:

I feel like Harry's attraction towards Light is rather similar to the way he looks up to Lupin.

Then again, his fondness for Lupin is because of the teacher's past with his parents; while his attraction for Light is because of curiosity.

Interesting fanfiction.

Wow. Just, wow. I don't really know what to say. That's just so deep, and cool, and confusing, and convoluted, and complicated, and mysterious... I have to wonder how someone who isn't familiar with Death Note would react to it. They might be even more impressed with it, or perhaps less, since they can't understand everything that's mentioned.
