ch 10,
abuseI'm just done reading your 14 stories. I was so captivated by your writing and your characterization that I had to read them all within the last 3 days... Wow! That was quite a ride! Probably some of the best fanfictions I've ever read. I felt that Rita was totally "Avengers-like", Steed and Mrs. Peel are quite in-character. Most of the time, your depiction of the action and your dialogs are so vivid that I felt I was actually watching a real episode.

There are only 2 things that made me cringe a bit:
- too many kicks in the "jewels" to my taste... I feel Emma is too classy for that and knows many other ways to incapacitate an opponent,
- Similarly, I can hardly picture Emma joking about this kind of kick (don't remember where it was, something about the villain being able to sing the woman's part of an opera). A bit tasteless, I think.

There are also some minor misuses of the French language (sorry, I'm French! ;) ). Eg. "M'sieur": this isn't something you would hear much, unless the character is portrayed as being extremely vulgar and/or talking slang all the time. "Monsieur" would sound better, IMHO, even coming from someone as brazen as the Bulldog.

Apart from these minor quirks, everything is absolutely delightful. It's my Avengers all right (with a little bit more risqué twist)!
Your depictions of places and cultures are amazing. You seem very well documented.

Now I can't wait to read what you will come up with to explain the reapparance of Peter Peel in Forget-me-Knot.

Please don't make us wait too long!

Thank you for such a great writing.

abuseActually, it's a pre-Forget Me Knot story, in which Pehlovich (he survived, of course) learns a secret that is sufficient bargaining chip for the Ministry to allow him to return as Peter Peel (Tarrant, Charles, and eventually Mother all know his true identity.) And another storyline happens beyond that, post-Forget Me Knot.

abuseOK, now I've gotta ask. If you are planning on writing out evil "Peter" out of the storyline, then are you planning to do a post "Forget Me Knot" storyline that explains why he turned up as Peter Peel?

abuse"No hat or brolly?" he asked. I LOVE IT! And she "faced away while he dressed", of course, always Emma the proper lady (you protrayed this woman magnifically, sometime i say you?) Ah, love the mayhem in the biulding too... Emma for president!

abuseI've tweaked and updated this final chapter a dozen times since I posted it, and I'm still not happy, either with the action set-piece or the end tag, but there it is. It technically meets the requirements for the denouement, so I'm calling this one done :)

abuseLet me apologize in advance of completion for foisting this massive 25K word action piece on you. I like to write these kinds of stories over the winter, even though they're not strictly in the classic Avengers style. Like many of you, I was growing tired of my whole "Peter Peel" story line, so I decided to write him out in a dramatic finale (at least until "Forget-Me-Knot") so that I could focus on more light-hearted stories. Hope you didn't feel too "run through the wringer" by this one.

abuseAh, relief... at last! Brave Mrs. Peel, i adore this woman.
"Don't get any ideas," she teased. "I'm just making sure you're completely revived"
"You have me fully stimulated, Mrs. Peel," Brilliant!

"Just another episode in 'The Perils of Paulina'," he said cheerily. "You seem to be having trouble staying dressed today." I Love it!

abuseIs odd, but i think this confussion don't exist in Spanish, because "Traidor" is a traitor-man, and "Traidora" is a traitor-woman. This could be a relief to Steed (but then, your storie don't be so interesting and plenty of deadly suspense) Oh, deadly, indeed.

abuseI love it! You kill me with the confussion, but is worth of the excellent plot (but how i must suffer...)You can't see me, but i assure you my jaw drop like the dog-enemy of Droopy, (you remember this TV program?)imagining the encounter between Emma and Steed.

ch 3,
abuseOh, so sorry, but this chapter are PLENTY of excellents sentences i'm must quote...
"What was that?" he managed to stammer.
"I was touching your chakra."
"Without a chaperone present?"
...
"I'm here to show you how to do it permanently."
"Semi-permanently might be better."
...
"Like watching a Middlesbrough football match?" Steed offered.
In resumen: The scene with the guru (woman, of course) is between the best i read of you, warm congratulations. Well, the scene of Emma and the russian isn't less interesting (especially her rage) Fantastic chapter.

abuseI apologize for the delays in the completion of this piece, particularly since it was not designed to be read episodically, chapter by chapter, but as a whole work of narrative flow. I should edit the final 30 words this week.
