Why does Lex give Diana and Clark a full background of Zatanna? Isn't Lex a genius for a villain? This seems pointless for him to do that. More like he is narrating to the audience. . . Did he just broke the 4th wall? =3

I'm really enjoying this story so far! But, just a quick fact for this chapter; penguins only live in the south, not the north. If they saw penguins in the north pole, something is direly wrong with the world.

I love how Clark went all silent after Diana left. So cute.
Two sentences stood out:
[Dare to tell me you have not thought of bedding my daughter?"] This made me laugh so hard. Not only because Clark got embarrassed, but I actually think every guy would get ashamed, getting a question like that.
[Kindred spirits always find each other] Really adorable. I strongly believe in this, so it was nice to read it aswell. I always knew Martha is a smart woman ^^

That was completely insane! I honestly don't know what to say, other than great job!! You've had me hooked from the first chapter, and kept me busy through 31 chapters of pure greatness. I actally have nothing to complain about as this is an AU derived from the Smallville universe, and you impressed me greatly with how you filtered in all those villains and heroes. It has been a very graphic ride, and believe me when I say that's nothing but positive, and you're one of the very few authors on this site that I'm interested in reading more from, so I hope you'll come up with a new plot for a new story sometime in the future, but as for now...I can wait!

I've always thought Superman/WonderWoman was a great pairing, and as a fan of crack pairings I can honestly say you've now turned m into a shipper as well. This was (excuse my french) ** brilliant! I have nothing else to say.

Of all the Lanterns you could have chosen, why- WHY?- did you elect to include Kyle Rayner in your story? I mean, he's slightly better than Hal Jordan (whom I still haven't forgiven for that whole Parallax incident), but the ONLY Green Lantern who's even worth the time of day is John Stewart. I don't care if it would mean you had THREE Johns in your story, he's still the best GL.

And also- NO! Not Booster Gold! God I hate that guy. A lot. Almost as much as I dislike Hal Jordan.

And also- NO! I mean, two boys is a nice kick in the face to Hippolyta for her prejudices, but seriously... LARA! It's canon! She's SUPPOSED to be the firstborn! She's the one who could totally take on Darkseid and Doomsday TOGETHER and be like 'Pf. Featherweights.' She's the one who killed Brainiac permanently. She, like her aunt Kara, could fly almost immediately! That's just how it IS! Although, come to think of it, she's easily as impetuous as her aunt, maybe more so. Giving her the ability to FLY would make her just a little too... ! if you know what I mean.

Other than that, brilliant conclusion to a good story.

I'm still Clois to the ends of the earth, but I will admit, it's an intriguing concept- Superman and Wonder Woman. But honestly, the only reason I can really stand behind it at all is Lara. She is my FAVORITE superhero-type of ALL TIME.

Honestly, this Kal-Diana ship is a good idea... for people who love ultimate power. (That said, I wonder why I'm not falling at it's hypothetical feet) I think it's a nice fantasy, but nothing more than that. A fantasy. Bruce-Diana works so much better. You can see the sparks in that relationship. Between Supes and WW... they're just so alike it doesn't really seem to work. They say opposites attract. And in any relationship I really like, there's the one who's whole, and the 'damaged goods'. The one who's been hurt, who finds that they're unable to trust... and then the strong one, the one who can bear all the pain they've been through, is patient, waits for them to come around, and heals them of all their wounds.

Batman- so dark, SO many issues... Wonder Woman, the brilliant shining star of Themyscira, the one person who might be able to keep his soul from becoming tarnished beyond repair.

Lois Lane- hurt badly by every man she's ever known, so strong on the outside, but hiding a softer, vulnerable side... Kal-El, the Last Son, the only one who would never cause her pain, the only one who ever saw that soft side. Because she was waiting for someone to see it, even if she didn't know it. And he finds it, brings it to the surface. Makes her see that it's okay to be soft sometimes, that you don't have to be cold and distant to survive.

Wow. completely off topic. Love your story. If you should want to continue our 'friendly discussion' of Kal-Diana vs. Clois, message me...

Such an exciting chapter! I like that you've made Diana question the feeling a kiss can give to someone, instead of the person giving the kiss. Very cool.
And finally Clark realised and admitted he likes her!
