What a delicious little story. Very very well-written .. with wit, humour, sensitivity, and overall a remarkable flow.
I loved their interactions, they were natural, yet had this particular tension one would expect. And of course very smart. I really really like what you thought up there.
I also don't think I ever read a fanfiction which incorporated the actual novel as fittingly and wonderfully as you did.

I quite enjoyed this fic. I think the interaction between the two of them was perfect--the way Albus was a little less arrogant in reality than he told Harry he had been, 'cause we all know he couldn't be *that* bad. My inner Marauder fangirl thanks you for the little Remus bit (I can SO picture him jumping on the bed!), and I absolutely adored Dumbledore's choice for the Chocolate Frog cards. Dobby really is the greatest wizard of modern times.

I love how you did this. The flashbacks really show his character evolve.
I'm not sure if you meant this, but I really liked the line "Professor Dumbledore enjoys learning from his students." In a way, that's what this story is all about for me. He loves, loses, and then relearns the power and importance of love from the people around him, including his students.
I do like to think that love helped in the duel in 1945, but my Gellert may be more remorseful than most.

Wonderful story! I love your insights into Dumbledore's character, and Grindelwald's too. And the tie-in to what Dumbledore was thinking at different points in the book is great too.

Wow a serious look inside Dumbledore's head. So long I've wanted to read something like this, about the two of them. Great job, that was so sweetly sad. I love the last part particularly, the last line the most. Great job.

This was very well written and very well thought out. I enjoyed reading it. It pained me to think that Dumbledore did not always believe in the power of love, but it feels so much more realistic now. The reason he knows that Voldemort under-estimates it, or every other extremely powerful wizard, is because he did it himself. Of course, the one he loved turned out to be evil and his love could not save him, os really it is quite understandable. Wonderful view point! Once again, loved it.

This was absolutely beautiful. I´ve been looking for a good story about Albus and Gellert ever since the seventh book came out and this fic is just what I wanted. It shows their attraction fantasticaly...I loved it.

This is one of the most beautiful stories I have read on ffnet. Really. Albus's character is wonderfully respected, and Gellert is exactly how I imagine him.
The "flashbacks" bring the story to life (at least, in my opinion) and help us to understand Albus's actions better.

I believe this is the best of all of your HP stories! It truly is awsome. I didn't have any problem with the timeline and I love the analogy of the train. I'm not going to read any more of Grindledore yet because your fic will reign in my mind forever!
