This was truly beautiful. I teared up at 2: Myth, 6: Notes, 9: Heart, 10: Sky, 12: Running, 19: Question, 21: Guard, 28: Nightmare, 33: Skin, 40: Bottom, 41: Password, 43: Prosstitue, 45: Pendant, 46: Compassion, 47: Deception, 48: Destruction, and 50: Cathedral. I probably would have gotten a lot more emotional if I hadn't been in my school library...

Some of the sentences seemed oddly worded, but it wasn't too noticable (I'm just a word-flow and phrasing freak). Especially as the ideas you used were so amazing. I got chills down my spine at 24: Cards, 30: Death, 32: Shampoo, 33: Skin, 38: Religion, 46: Compassion, and 49: After-math. I truly love your descriptions and imagery.

In short: this was amazing. Thank you for writing this, really.

Maybe it is my wishful thinking but Light/Matsuda seemed unrequited as if Light was using Matsuda for fun and later as L substitute.

To be honest, the first thing I did when I finished the deathnote series was come onto and look for Matsuda/Light slashfics.

I'm a bit picky about what I think would make a good Matsuda/Light fic and this pretty much is about...97% perfect.

Anyway- I can't think of anything to say other than how extraordinarily amazing and adorable this is.

The first two kinda threw me of, but all of them together was really good. I always get confused when authors describe chracters like, "the green eyed boy" etc etc, it gets kind of annoying...but I guess it's better than "blah blah LIGHT blah blah blah MATSUDA blah blah blah" heh. Not that your work is blah! I like it for the most part. Except the suicide part. YAY FOR NOT KILLING YOURSELF! :D

My Deathnote obsessed friends at school commanded me to read it. Like three. Your fanbase is definetly NOT limited to reviews.

This was lovely. I liked the way that you reflected on other characters as well and managed to pack so much into each sentence. In particular:

1. Makes me think of some of the lighting effects that appear in the anime.

29. Matsuda's student-mentor relationship with Soichiro is often over looked and I loved this bit about it.

38. Chilling.

45. The "Li-Kira" was wonderfully done and it feels just like Matsuda to try and seperate the two in his mind.

If you want the right community, you need to go to livejournal and search under usernames. There's 1sentence which is pairing based, 1fandom which is just general fandom and 1character which focuses on a single character. I don't think the last two are as active, but 1sentence has pretty good traffic.
