Tribun 2008-03-27 ch 4,	abuseFirst let me tell you that this is a good story, hope you post the next chapter soon. -Emi strikes me that she is a lot like Akane, in the way that she practically has made up her mind that all men are bad and she tries to justify it by only seeing their bad sides. That she readily accepted Akane's poisened view of Ranma without a question only proves this. And while thinking that she is better than many, she actually is as flawed as everyone in Nerima. I think she really needs to be taken down some pegs. -Ranma, after a rocky beginning, now seems to get very good along with Preston and Kouryuu. Guess he is relieved to finally find some guys on the same wavelength.

I didn't see the Preston/Piku twist coming, which impressed me. most authors either telegraph a twist like that, or pull it out of the blue; but you managed to include information that supports it without making it obvious. again, thank you for taking the time and effort to write.
Ambulatory Kettle 2008-03-14 ch 1,	abuseNote from the author: While I'm sure this story isn't for everyone and I'd never begrudge someone their opinion, I kind of have to object to the previous review purely on the grounds of it's inaccuracy. I don't know how far that reviewer read, or where they got the impression that someone beat Ranma, but that's false. So far no one has defeated Ranma, and I can't imagine anything of the sort happening in the foreseeable future of the story, if ever. That's just not what this story is about. "Turning up the power curve," while a reoccurring trope of the original series, what with the chronic "arms race" between Ryouga and Ranma, is not something I think I'm going to explore very much here. Spring of Drowned Dojo is a story of character interactions; it's not DBZ. -_-

ArmorOfGeddon 2008-03-13 ch 4,	abuseLoved that last scene there! People seem to forget that Nabiki is only really clever compared to the idiots that populate Nerima. She's kind of like Mandy from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, or Gaz from Invader Zim. It's easy to appear real clever when your surrounded by oblivious idiots. Notice she never messes with Cologne, the one person who easily eclipses her intellectually in the entire series. Nevermind that she still hadn't figured out that Ryoga was actually P-chan by the end of the manga. In truth, she's just as blindly obsessive and short-sighted as the other characters in the series, it's just that her obsession is with money instead of a person (broader focus for her), and she has no martial arts so she has to be more subtle at getting what she wants (and show a little planning). Preston also hit the nail on the head about her being evil. Maybe not pure evil as he exagerrates, but definitely selfish to the point of being near evil. During her 10-yen match against Kinnousuke, she mentioned she would gladly drive the whole Tendo family into bankruptcy as long as she got to take Kinnousuke down with her. Nevermind that unlike her, Kinnousuke is already bankrupt. He practices a philosophy/lifestyle of living his entire life off of other people's money, and is very successful (he actually lives a fairly decent life without ever spending a single yen of his own money, and in fact, he has no money of his own). Again, unlike Nabiki who makes money for herself. So having no money of his own doesn't inconvenience him in the slightest. It would ruin the Tendo's life though as they have no experience at living their entire lives mooching off of others. She's selfish and prideful to the point of self-destruction, and has only lived as long as long as she has because she usually deals with people who are unwilling to strike her. The one time she actually went to far (when she was engaged to Ranma and renting him off) Shampoo, Kodachi, and Ukyou damn near killed her and she only made it because Ranma saved her (Ukyou may have settled for just hurting her, but Kodachi and Shampoo were perfectly willing to kill her).

I've held off putting up a review for this for as long as I could stand it as piece after piece of this story continues to be enjoyable and definitely a damned good read! Fact is, that energy drink comment on Kuno's 'Blue Thunder' nickname just had me hanging over myself. 'Seriously'! HAHAH!! I Love This!! With grace and style all unique and trademarked to the Ranma one-half form, this particular piece of work displays both dexterity and original thinking! Bravo, and 'Write On'!! MattSaotome
162eRI 2008-03-05 ch 3,	abuse^^ The situation became more and more crazy for the Tendo Dojo's family ^^ I like the idea of the Dojo use and the expand of the house (with the kendo and 2 other dojo)... Anyway, I like the sotry ! Keep working. Just something, why Akane didn't say to Emi that Ranma was her fiance ? I mean, it's not a big secret, all Nerima know about that, and because she come everyday to the dojo, with the crazy fathers, she must have someday know it ?

Ranma on several occations has fought girls and it's really annoying to read about it especailly since the time period is placed after the wedding where there are countless examples of ranma fighting girls. Shampoo, Kodachi, Cologne to name a few then depending on the anime or magna there are others
