Ah! Splendid! It was so sad though. Poor Seras, even though I don't like her. But that was very very good.

This is basically well-written nonsense. Even low vampires can regenerate and every vampire can use the third eye, so she could never be completely blinded. And besides, there`s a lot of people who can handle thier lives even without sight.
And finally, as a little spoiler, Alucard dies and Pip one with Seras. So Alucard couldn`t care less and Pips image would be inside her head anytime she wants it.

Geez, i guess its overreacting but as a Seras fan, this is just plain insulting.
