How sad...

What a sweet story.

I won't lie, I do breed pokemon eggs for specific natures, but only because it's all a game.

This reminds me of another fanfic of a pokemon captured by a human. The problem was that pokemon was I think a fathe who had gone out to hunt for his family.

Stories like this reveal how sad the pokemon world can be for the pocket monsters. Those pokeballs probably brainwash them to be loyal the minute they're captured. Imagine being forced to leave behind all your family and friends...

Aw...so true, though. I had a friend who was trying to breed an Adamant Gible. It took him, like, 30 goes, and then he tossed it because it was female, and bred another 30-odd till he got a male one. Sexist bigot...I don't mind which I get, it makes no difference to me. Anyway, great story, well written, and touching.

Aww...I never do that! Instead I go to the GTS to trade them! Juptile, I'd like to make a story like this...I need your permission though. But keep writing!

Aww, poor Pokemon! I never did that, not even when I had three full boxes of Piplups when I was trying to breed a female one. And the Venusaur incident...So many Bulbasaurs! Who knew the Ditto and Venusaur liked each other so much!

Anyway, cute but sad. I liked it. :)

1) You forgot to mention about IVs (Individual Values). These values are so random. But with the right breeding, and a little luck, you might be able to end up with a Pokemon with right set of IVs.

2) Yes. I've bred a whole batch of Pokemon. Have you tried catching loads of Ditto, one for every kind of nature? I have. Twice. One for Emerald and one for Pearl. Having a variety of Ditto makes looking for the right nature quite easier, but I guess you already knew that.

3) Stories like these... so sad... It proves why the Pokemon World can't be real...

Aww... after reading this I hate myself for doing exactly the same thing. Except that I turn the game off if I don't get what I'm looking for. This is so sad... I was actually planning a one-shot about exactly the same subject, but now the idea is taken so I guess I'll never write it.
