Just read all three in the series and I can only say that I loved this. Trent's "Fucking... Put your pants on, dude. Nobody wants to see that" had me in stitches even though it was kind of sad and hurtful. Denial, it's not just a river in Egypt, after all! Also, kudos for the use of the Pete Yorn lyric at the end. ;)

Wow, there's a fun pairing. Nice dance between Trent's desires and his culturally-induced homophobia. Miles, poor dude... hope things improve on his end somehow. Maybe the jerk will finally get his head together. Anyway, good fic, never would have thought of it.

You do a great great job with making them teens--unsure and awkward and a little desperate, and so, so lost--Trent especially. And yes, 'in-the-closet' is such a perfect, perfect explanation for this.

And I have to say that I'm glad to see somebody other than myself writing for this pairing! It's, like, my crack-OTP for TF2007verse, and I just can't find it. So here's to the possible start of a trend!

I feel so bad for Miles though. (and Miles did seem kinda clingy to Sam all the time... not at all attracted to Mikayla like the rest of the straight guys in school). Great fic!
