This is a highly believable father-Chandler, but I would have made the same point as Venused - Erica is adopted - and further, who says Monica's a wild driver? Her father trusts her with his Porsche. But this gives off a realistic sense of them as a family in the teenage years, more than others I've read. |

Only minor issue (nitpick really) I have is with the final (punch)line and the word heriditary. As the twins are adopted, how can Erica have inherited Monica's 'driving gene' which is what *I* thought seemed to be implied. Unless, as I'm going to pretend, for the purpose of this fic the twins aren't adopted. So glad you posted :) |
