This is one of most well written NiGHTS fanfiction!

Keep it coming! I absolutly love the storyline and how you're staying true to all of the character personalities. Because I have little to no time to play the game, this story is an excellent way to fill my Nights craving.

Finding their way to Canvas Valley, NiGHTS attacks Reala for hurting Lydia. The jester and Aspen de-fuse and the two jesters have a proper duel. Lydia is taken to a cave by the boy Visitor and the Nightopians. The tiny creatures heal any injuries after they get in.

As the top-rank Nightmaren continue the fight, the Goodles and other monsters come for the Visitors. Thanks to NiGHTS, they have gotten away, so the birds capture the rebel instead.

The monsters retreat, and Owl comes out. Lydia meets him, but they're not safe yet. There is one member missing and he/she is captured!

You wouldn't call Dualizing just a ride in the sky, as Aspen has already figured out. After learning what dualizing is, they take off to defeat the Nightmaren.

I like how you interpreted what it's like when you Dualize. We never actually get to experience it, and it feels almost real.

We also learn some Dream Worlds are connected to others from games.

As the beings of Nightmare (notable bosses from the two games)watch as the two defeat the units sent out as one, Reala is introduced and he tries to take Lydia. Owl has noticed this and alerts NiGHTS after the battle. They go to stop him.

wow. this is one of the most well written fanfictions i have ever read! and to think our RP is based on this, wows. for serious!

Lydia's Valley seems to be a nice place for the Nightopians. Her next encounter, I predict, is going to be a rocky one. Nightopia's in danger again! (I fear those birds are coming for NiGHTS!)

Very good! The nightmares seemed realistic.

We also get a look at Aspen and Lydia's Nightopias. Lydia's is very broad beyond the mountains (I'll call it "Canvas Valley" for the time being). Aspen, being an animal lover, first dream world is centered around a thriving forest (For this, I'll temporarily call it "Forest Green"). I've given them names based on my thought, but if you thought up of names for them already, I'll stop naming the world.

Your characters are quite constructed well. Aspen, an animal-loving boy teased for that interest, and Lydia, a budding artist who just lost confidence in herself. It makes me wonder what they'll find in themselves to solve their problems.
