Oh, I liked this A LOT. Based on one of my favorite episodes, and you captured the essence of it beautifully. Your Juliet is exactly how I imagine her, and Ben is so wonderfully creepy X3

Yes! I'm glad someone wrote a drabble on those two words. I loved Juilet's flashbacks and just seeing Ben in such a different light and him saying those words. You made her fear from the show very evident in here and built upon that to encompass her word to Jack.

Wonderful! Such an amazing and intense line, it was the best of the night's episode. And you used it very powerfully in your fic. :)

In the first episode of episode 3, I wondered why Ben sent Goodwin & Ethan rather than any of the Other men in the village. Now at least I know why he chose Goodwin. It reminded me of the story of David & Bathsheba in that David sent Bathsheba's husband Uriah the Hittite into battle & told the others to withdraw from him (so that he would be slain). Of course Bathsheba loved David, unlike Juliet, who did NOT love Ben. Anyway, this is a very good character study of one of my favorites.
