I've really enjoyed "Quiet Summer" up until now, I think it has an interesting plotline and I love how you're portraying the characters and evolution of Lily & James' relationship. Having them start their relationship during the summer between 6th - 7th year works much better I think than middle of 7th year. Your also sticking to canon (as far as a can tell, at least) which makes it all the more believable. Looking forward to the next chapter, whenever it may be.
Also, I reread "The Anatomy of a Bromance" just now for something like the sixth time - I love it and it never fails to make me cry. You really seemed to capture exactly what made their friendship so special.

just one thing I was supposed to tell u in a review one million yrs ago, I have an idea. for you. that wud go amazingly well with this scene (I think? LOL)

Anyway, here it is:
James and Lily are at James' house. In his backyard. They're lying on the grass, its nightime and they're star-gazing (how romantic!)together. James tells her this secret, and then says something like, "I feel better now". with a smile
Lily: Abt wat? (smilng )
James: I dunno, we kno everything abt each other now. Nothing between us, not even a little secret. No secrets between us. I like it that way. Its special.
Lily: (lookin uncomfortable, with a sigh) yeah. (touches her ankle to his)

The next day, she feels guilty and she goes to him and tells him some big secret of her own cos she cant bear to keep it from him- she's so guilty.

I dont know, I know it sounds silly and mushy-gushy romantic, but if you tried to describe it with Mina Magic, I think it cud work. You cud use it as something else to build their trust in each other on. Even if you decide to use it l8er and not in this scene, I just think it goes rlly well with the kind of story ur writing. You know, peaceful, realistic, bittersweet, with a touch of ambience.
I love it.

Brilliant story. I desperately wish that you would update soon. But seeing that you haven't updated since: 12/17/08. I doubt it. It would be nice to have an update though. There must be some fans of yours from the past that wish for the story to be updated. Well, if not, I will be the one fan that does even though I'm your newest fan...

The way you write for Lily is impeccably feminine and familiar to all females. You've got the Marauders relationships pinned down and you have definitely captured my attention with this entire story for the last day and a half [which I should have used towards homework].
