abuseI like how you have taken a story from the Silmarillion and expanded it to allow the reader to feel more involved with Luthien and Beren, but stay on canon. You can still hold your breath when Huan fights the wolves, and as Luthien searches for Beren.

Well done!

abuseThis is very well written. I'm just curious - where did you get the inspiration for Artire? It was a brilliant idea.

abuseGood cliff hanger!

It's so funny how Artire has got himself into a true situation, serves him right.

Good storytelling, nice flow. It's not jumpy, and uses good common sense.

ch 1,
abuseArtire is throughly a servent of Melkor now, and there's no turning back for him having killed the baker to forcefully take possession of his body.

But I have one question, if the Ainur can see through any form he, Atire might take, won't Sauron see Atire in the flesh of the baker? Or sense the same feelings when Atire is near him like Atire does of Sauron no matter the form Sauron assumes?

I like the way you explained the idea behind the sacrifices, leave only the weak to be manipulated. But that would also make using the weakened race for an army ineffective also. But then again, no one ever claimed that Sauron was a genius.

I enjoyed this and can't wait for another so hurry up...lol!
