I have to call you out on this one, super-powered Harry, fine. Gullible Voldemort, okay. Collecting the horcruxes without setting off any alarms, possible. Getting a contractor to start a job on time, not in your wildest dreams bucko!

Just kidding, I thought it was okay.

Great story. Who knew high strength concrete was impervious to magic? Thanks for writing. W.

Very well done. I've always liked the idea of using newer muggle technology to off Ol' Voldyface.

About the only thing I think I would have done differently would have been to wait until teh concrete cured, and then had it dropped into the Marianas trench...but that's just me.

I would love to see a sequel where voldie is revived millions of years later. perhaps a crossover with Asimov's story 'Shah Guido G'?

"They'd finish gathering the Horcruxes" !! Handwave much? ;-)
This is such an absurd statement that you have to SHOW otherwise; not gloss over an epic challenge with one sentence!

But, other than that and a little awkward "villain's exposition", this was a good piece.

It was also risky letting Borgin retain knowledge of Voldy's whereabouts. The secret will spread and any dark-lord wannabe can recover Voldemort with simple muggle technology.

PS. Last critical review from me

LOL, this was a highly entertaining piece of writing. Your use of the English language is most unusual for FF writers. LOL

That may be due to the simple fact that most FF writers would have no idea what half of those words mean without looking them up. LOL

Very enjoyable.

Cheers

HT!

I was getting bored waiting for updates on some favorite stories ... so I decided to re-read and finally write a review.

Great Jigger! that was good. I so appreciate the stories that do NOT conform to canon ... *grin*

Heres hoping you update soon ...

as always,
MUIRNIN - who is going to be writing soon.

You know, that solution is kindof like one of my favorite movie Lines "We got to nuke them from orbit, the only way to be sure". Technology sometimes is way cooler than magic. Much more permanent too. Thanks for this really cool story.

Interesting, and a new take on how Tom could have been taken out of the picture some, if they'd thought a bit more Muggle and less wizarding-like. Nice to see that Hermione, Harry and Borgin were able to do this with little fuss or muss Very good fic.

"Blame"? You're going to blame me for this?

Well, I suppose I can live with that. Jeconais says something similar about the Object Lessons Trilogy, after all.

Yes, this is a fitting end to Tom. Very nice touch to have it in Little Hangleton, incidentally. Just the kind of ironic twist that adds the right amount of flair.

Great ficlet. Thanks for sharing.

PS: You realize that I want to use this idea in "1001 Deaths", right?
