Thank you for writing this, I loved it. After I read The Green Mile I was haunted by Dean's death; he was my absolute favourite character. It didn't help that Barry Pepper, who plays Dean in the film, is one of my two favourite actors and I could imagine it all too well.

I've been considering writing something about him, although this is pretty much perfect. Very sad, well written. Short but sweet. Lovely!

wow this is really good i actually felt like crying. the green mile is my fav book (i am reading it now) i was sad to read that dean died makes the film more sad knowing that he died soon after john coffey. good job.

Oh wow this is so sad. It's how I felt when I read it in the book. I actually cried. This was very well written though. I like it even if it is sad.
