I'm never quite sure if it was for better or for worse. I mean, it was good he met Bella, and that Carlisle wasn't alone any more. But why? Why did his mother have to die - such a kind woman! And to be taken away from her...to FORGET her...

This was well-written. I feel like there's never enough about Edward's real birth mother, so it's interesting to read something about her.
& as for the book... is Mr. Wilde referring to Oscar Wilde, by any chance?

When I saw the title of this story I pretty much flipped.
This is a great start, & a nice application of the lyrics.
