Absolutely loved this; very sweet. I particularly liked the end of the alternate Rodney's story - sad, yes, but it seemed very fitting for him. Although I'm still not convinced about them, he and Keller definitely do make a cute couple.

A great addition to the episode. The friendship alive after so many years, with all the changes, written so well. It's always nice to come back and read this again.

First of all, I have to say I was giggling all the way through the scene with Keller. Sheppard is such the meddling little rascal, hehe.

Anyway! I've seen a few of the "missing scene" fics, but I think this one's my favorite. It's concise and to the point, but beautifully conveys the depth of emotion and tragedy in the stark loneliness of the abandoned Atlantis. Rodney's death not being discovered for two weeks illustrated that more than anything. I love how the ending not only drags the reader out of the feeling of empty despair of the alternate timeline, but gives an strong air of hope to it all.

Thanks for another great story. The scenes where holo-Rodney wondered about his timeline's fate or that alluded to his time alone on Atlantis were very poignant.

Terrific job. I especially liked Sheppard's little nudge . . .

jeez. Y'know, I have a plot bunny (Just typed it out, actually! It hit me while reading a fic before this one!) floating around my head where McKay does die on Atlantis. Weird to just think of it (And there's also a bunny I'm pondering about Beckett's fate) and then to see both of these in this fic, haha. Oh well. Don't kill me if I write it, it won't copy yours.
