Enjoyed reading this a lot. You do indeed pull together many sources to recreate an interesting opening scene, and your scriptwriting is very good. I particularly enjoyed the inclusion of a fourth goblin, who might have first shown Blunder that he really needed to get out of a bad situation. And you even explained how he received his strange arm! Good job!
