that was fantastic! you had them perfectly in character, and i've been dying to see a little more angst from john (they just spend to time displaying him with various women). did you catch the preview of next week's episode? it looks great, but i can't help but wonder what they have planned. it almost seems like the plot is moving too fast, so you can just tell that something will come around and set him back at least a few more months...

Dang nabbit, I was aiming for the first fic! Oh well. You know, it takes a good writer to be able to write something so darkly depressing, yet have the reader laugh out loud like I did. It was Eva's line, "And how the ** did it NOT work?" Usually when someone says something bluntly like that it makes me laugh.

When we arrive, sons and daughters, we'll make our homes on the water...

I like this! Yours is the only New Amsterdam fic I could find, so I'm really glad it was good. I've wondered if he had ever tried to kill himself.

Wow. Just wow.

I'd like to think that maybe Sara's not the One he's been waiting for. I don't like the whole pursuing a married woman thing they're going with on the show. It's sad that John felt like he had nothing else to do except try this last thing.

It made me laugh when Corey said that about his head getting cut off but now it's just sad. I'm glad that Eva knows now and that she was there to help Omar. Poor guy should never have had to walk in on that and it's a good thing John is sorry and not going to do it again.

I hope you write more. Or at the very least, another one. Excellent work. Thank you for sharing it with us.
