Hm... I think I preferred the first version ('though the concept behind both is fantastic). The sparse, almost desolate, language seemed to fit with the story much closer than the more detailed descriptions in version two. Not that I dislike version two, your writing is quite fascinating.

Oh Anakin! This version is much better than the first - I didn't understand at first that Anakin had killed himself after being too late to save Luke. Poor Anakin - poor Luke! It's such a tragic ending for the two of them - but very well written ;)

I absolutely love this rewritten version! Very well done, I especially like the part where it's talking about people with the Force clinging onto their little ones. Excellent job!

I think this is definitly an improvement over the last version; it's clearer now and more poignant, and still very sad. However, it's plagued by typos. "The words seem whisper" in the very beginning, "captors or Emperors"; perhaps in that one "emperors" is supposed to be plural (although what other emperor-figure did Vader lose to?), but if it is not only referring to Palpatine, it ought'nt be capizalized. Clean these things up, and you'll have a fantastic story without any distracting problems.

I like how Vader kills himself with Luke's lightsaber. I mean, you know, it's not likeable per se, but it's so ironic. Good fic.
