Reviews for: Barbara: Inseparable
Danny Barefoot
2008-03-16 . chapter 1
The fourth paragraph here shows a reaction to other people's changing values essentially similar to the first two stories, but more biting than any previous insight. Barbara seems to lack conflict, choice, or true self awareness; I find it less worrying that she can be quite happy and well-adjusted than that she has the artistic ability to plan weddings. She still wants to adapt, but just hasn't gained a desire to change herself; I'm waiting for the story in this series that shows how an external event can't change somebody, but their own effort can (Were you thinking of something like that?).

The everyday background has all the great detail that dropped off a little in the second story; the twenty-four hour time jarrs for some reason, and I think incorperate should be incarnate? Poor George does seem rather badly dominated. For the meaning to it, this is probably the best in the series so far.
