Well, I for one liked this story. I agree that sometimes things just can't be wrapped up with a nice, pretty bow. Sometimes they just are how they are. I think Delirium is a great character to play with because what she does doesn't have to make sense to anyone and when it does it can make you feel like maybe you're loosing it, too. It's kind of a Through the Looking Glass type of reality. I don't know if that makes sense at all, but that's the reaction I had to this.

Damn, now I need to go read the rest of the books. I got the first one as a present and never got the rest of the series, but this seems to make sense to me anyway. Kinda intense, but not in any kind of overblown way. A little depressing, to be sure, but in a good way. I dunno, but I guess I enjoyed this.
