I love this story and how you're handling the interspecies romance. So glad that Hound and Astrid are friends again!

That was sweet. They talked and made up. Then you completely creeped things out by having a stalker outside Hound's window. Hound should kick himself. He didn't semse him coming.

A very interesting denoument from the prior chapter. I have been remiss in reviewing, my apologies, but RL has been quite intrusive of late. I cannot begin to let you know how refreshing it is for a realistic portrayal of emotions in a fanfiction. I write this in almost every review; however, it is remarkable as the inevitable resolution in most fanfic-portrayed emotional conflicts is accomplished in a "snap of the fingers". You've thoroughly explored Astrid's feelings and she's had a chance to sort through her confusion, indignation, and anger to finally come to realistic conclusion. Her apologies to Hound are succint, but heartfelt.

I cannot wait to read the next chapter. Who is the mysterious person knocking on the window?

Another really excellent chapter. You've given Astrid time to come to terms with her emotion. She's "working through it" like anyone would after having had such a horrible one-night stand. She's coming to terms not only with what she did, but also who she did it with. In the end, she realizes that perhaps, yes, she does owe him at least the time for an explanation. She has been cold to Hound, but now, she is ready to listen.

Again, realistic emotions, great descriptions = another great chapter!

i felt that bellytightening feelin' in those last few paragraphs, and i really hope they're both reasonable with eachother to talk it out, cause really, they had it good before they got naked(or whatever). lol
