This was a wonderfully moving idea and beautifully written.
Your theme and tender story-telling reminded me lots of the Second Season episode "Houses of the Holy". I really felt deeply at peace with the priest from second one and your characterization was absolutely spot-on (both of your original character and of the brothers).

this was very good...I like the idea that Dean is like a white-lighter, that the forces of "good" step in and save him in spite of himself...oh well, one can only hope, right? I enjoyed reading this!

That reminds me - I really loved Dean's line in A Very Supernatural Christmas about the East Bunny being Jewish... wonder if it was Sera or Singer who came up with that one?

Awesome oneshot. Leave it to Dean to confess to a dead priest who wasn't moving on, but hey, at least that priest let him know that he still had many things to do, that he had a great detiny ahead of him!
