This story is just so... true... and sad. :) The oak tree is a symbol of wisdom, so it is true for Aang to seek peace from it. I simply loved your style of writing- it was detailed and I could imagine the setting so well. D

i have read very few fics w/ aang meditating, and i think you couldnt have described his feelings more perfectly. the relief he gets while meditating is a thing only nature can grant him! i love the way you wrote this, and i think this story is just fine standing alone! very cool, luved it!
