This fic really just is a godsend for me, I've been scouring the web for a REALLY good Kaworu and Shinji story. Not that there aren't good ones out there but I was looking for one with this particular feel to it, and yours fills that spot perfectly. Plus I was instantly addicted to your writing style.

This fic is very intricate and well-written! I can't believe it doesn't have more reviews... You've done a good job of keeping everyone in character , and the story has a very authentic "Evangelion feel" to it. Please update soon! =]

This is a really great story idea. I had a few reservations when I first saw it, but you've handled it very well. However, there are a LOT of confusing and sort-of confusing things going on here that I feel need some attention.

Your characterizations, as far as what you've done with the characters, are excellent; however, this has also been a little problematic for me. Your A/N's have helped clarify things a bit as we've moved on, but it's sometimes hard for me to keep track of which things are still canon and which are AU now. I like this blurred AU, but the line's gotten a bit hazy and I feel a few firm reminders after your initial introduction of any non-canonical ideas wouldn't hurt.

This is also made somewhat difficult by your style (which, as I've already said, I really like). I'm not asking for any changes here, just wanted to point out something I personally found more confusing.

...and honestly, if that's the worst that happens to this story, I'm not going to be upset. I only try to leave a little CC in my reviews.

Wonderfully written. I simply love your style, how it drags the reader straight into the characters' mind, making it impossible to read this fanfic detachedly.
Shinji and Kaworu are *perfectly* IC: your story works; it's convincing and believable.

for some reasons, it's hard seeing that happening to Kaoru instead of shinji. It's like there is a whole world between them that it's impossible to compare.

The begining reminded me of that strange aura of evangelion that you described so well.
I loved the interaction between shinji and kaworu, it was really awesome even though strangely most of it was silence.
The end made me completely laugh, especially when kaoru's laugh was heard. lol

You haven't updated for a while. Hopefully you've got another chapter coming soon, because this really was a delight to read. This is so perfectly in character, and your interpretation of the original manga scenes to reflect your own idea was wonderful.

Really, she can't find anything in this story to critique - all she can do is ask hopefully for an update.

Despite how very many fanfics I've read over the years, I very rarely ever review, but when I read your fic (don't know whenn I first read it, it was when it was up to chapter 7, I had forgotten to add it to my alerts but luckily I just checked the Shinji & Kaoru area and and found your update)... and see how very little reviews it has...

This is a wonderful fic. It has been years since I've read a well written ShinjiKoworu fic, escpially one written so recently, and even those ones... well, they had good plots, but none as unique as yours. I love how you switched them, their locations and purposes, but still kept their personalities that we all know and love. They're childhood memories are an added bonus. This is a very interesting AU that keeps all of the Eva goodness, even the original Eva universe, but twists it with new material and an interesting style.

So I guess all I can say is... keep up the good work! =D
