Fascinating character, Dougan is. I know some people shake their heads at the way Sanzo treats him, but what else can you expect? It is Sanzo's way, and yes, maybe Dougan DOES presume too much.

A little odd thinking of a successor being only 5 years younger, anyway, eh? ;) If Sanzo dies at 75, his successor would be 70...

Lovely story, a good exploration of a creepy and dangerous character.

I like the story very much. It's hard to find stories with Dougan in them...personally I don't like him. But I like to read stories with him in them weird...
Very good and there wasn't any ooc well I didn't see any. ^^

sigh sanzo is so crude
never know how much damage he causes
and goku is too whiny i see doguns grievens
the hypocratisy (sp) that is hakkai he was set free after all he did
and gojyo is the only one that he should leave alone cuz he is ok
i see the anger poor dougun
and goku needs to stop geez he is suffacating
