Irvine never did seem like someone who would be comfortable killing (and his line about "I always choke like this" didn't make him look like Rambo, either), and this is a good look at both his feelings on the matter and who could happen if he kept trying to fit into a mould that wasn't meant for him.

The one thing I would critique is that it seems a little flat--you stick in a few odd descriptions here and there, but the entire thing could be made so much more vivid. Then again, it's possible that you could have *wanted* to keep it rather flat and simple, and I'm just being an idiot. *rolls eyes*
