Why on earth hasn't this story been updated? You're one of my favorited authors, and I dunno if this is finished or not, but I would love to see it become so.

This is one of the first times where I read a Clark "secret reveal" scene that wasn't retarded or monotonous. There was a flow to the conversation that kept it interesting, and I really appreciated the nod to the red meteor rocks, a detail many authors neglect to include.

wow, really impressive chapter. i love that you mentioned Atlas Shrugged, one of my favorite books. so lex has a thing for chloe. i always thought those two had chemistry. does chloe feel something for him too? is there a jealous clark in the future. should be interesting. update soon

All of this is so true: Chloe and Lex are both truthseekers, and they enjoy uncovering mysteries. That is why they are the perfect match :)

I hope you are planning on having a Chlex conversation because I think Chloe really needs to thank him for protecting her and her dad. PLEASE??!! :):)

Excellent portrayals, and a good, solid, believable way for Clark to "make his confession." (That's got to be the hardest particular scene to ever write -- even the comics never got it right, except maybe in the scene where Aunt May revealed, right before she died, that she'd always known about Peter.) But Jonathan was right -- if Lionel hadn't been co-opted, Clark and most of his friends would be locked up or dead by now. Anyone with Lionel's drive to power would not hesitate to torture a teenager. // I have a major issue with the stupidity of whichever writer referred to Krypton as being in another galaxy. Warp drives and worm holes and all, it's still unlikely that Krypton would have been more than about 50 light years away, well within our own spiral arm, much less galaxy, if they even knew of humans within historical times. (There are, in fact, two red dwarfs with relatively-recently-exploded planets, at 35 and 60 light years.) // It's really funny that Lionel would think that teenagers could be blackmailed over puppy love. He must remember being a teenager a lot better than I do. About the only thing I kept from those years was a calculus handbook.

I so love the last 3 chapters. I enjoy seeing Pete and Chloe had that convo. I love Clark's revelation to Chloe.

Great to see now they're at a relationship but I still hope that the "Fever" letter will come out in some ways. I still wish Clark could actually read it. Anywayz...Great update. Looking forward for more.
