Sovereign of Silence3 2008-07-21 ch 9,	abuseNice chapter, glad you updated! But I'm a bit confused about the choices given to Hephaestion. The woman says that if she saves Hephaestion, he'll become king and whatnot, but then she'll kill Alexander? And if she chooses to "save" Alexander by letting him go home free, what will she do to Hephaestion? She slit his throat and put a flower there so I'm a bit confused if she's trying to kill him or what. Thanks for updating! I look forward to the next chapter.

I can see your writing style improving through time and yet remaining, in a strange way, the same, a thing that really charms me a lot. You always approach the characters with great respect as far as their feelings and reactions are concerned. I'm really looking forward for the next chapters of "Gone" since it's has been a while since you posted the last chapter. I hope you are ok. My job in the Ministry of Culture is really a tiring one and you will be pleased to know that reading "Gone" and all of your works is the one of the things that eases and calms me. This is so dpressing and yet so romantic at the same time! why do they both have to be so stubborn! oy! if only they would get over themselves and admit that they still love one another! I'm so frustrated! AHH!! On the other hand, it is so sweet how much they worry for eachother. I mean, Hephaestion not wanting to frighten Alexander with his illness, and Alexander freaking out over Hephaestion's health.
