Author376 2008-03-20 ch 1,	abuseAnother really cute story! I love how it takes a look at a "real life" moment between Kitty and Piotr. It's a snap-shot of the two doing a real couple-thing together. Kitty helping Piotr out and Piotr being his usual artistic self. Much more interested in the creation of his art than the hub-bub of artificiality that so often sorrounds an artist once he's famous. While Piotr would be happy to discuss his art with anyone who was honest in their appreciation of the art itself, he is not a piece of meat or a charity! My favorite lines were definitely: And very politely didn't interrupt the twenty minute lecture with, "Actually, Pete was fifteen minutes early picking up me and Illyana from Stevie Hunter's studio, and he happened to have his sketch pad with him." and He begged her, saying that the moments he got to spend with her got him through the rest of the mingling. And her prescence did discourage Countess Vardaneau, who tended to pinch. Really really, fun story. Thanks for the great read! Author376
