ch 1,  | abusewow... very nice writing, even if i'm not completely sure what you were talking about regarding harry when "he can't stop what's coming" & the staircases being broken. i presume it's about harry going back in time to view his parents & sirius. but the writing is nevertheless evocative & beautiful, especially when lily is running and "with bright,youthful daring, she dreams that she's the fastest being in the world right now". the green consistently calls up images of the avada kedavra curse, which eerily reminds us of the tragedy that occurs later on in the course of their lives. this is a very good fic, if at times unclear (to me anyway). nostalgic, joyful and sorrowful in turns and deserving of many more reviews. |
