this story is absolutely brilliant, i've reread the twelve chapters and came back to reread and review. it's amazingly well written, and thought out, and the sheer beauty of your writing is awesome. the way you weave words.. that dark revel chapter left me speechless. i love finding stories like these. thanks to The Problem With Purity! i've got to look it up on the site with 29 chapters, even if i have to join.

I faved this story some time ago and I think it has been a couple years since I last read it. The funny thing is that when I first read this I had no idea who LRK was and, to be honest, I never bothered to look. Now, I was looking through my old faves and opened up this one. I laughed out loud when I saw that you mentioned BEEK! I have read almost every book in the Mary Russell series and I just absolutely love Sherlock Holmes XD
I guess it just makes me laugh that I read this so long ago not knowing that one day LRK would be my favorite author! I'm sorry, I'm amused by life at the strangest of times :P
Anyways, I'm rereading your story and am, thus far, very amazed with it's quality. I'm going to keep plugging away now :P

I read up to chapter 29 onone of the sites linked on your profile and I think this is possibly my favourite fanfic of everything I've read! Its so great I love your writing :)

This story is pretty good, though I really am annoyed with Snape calling her "child" every sentence. It does a tad innapropriate under the circumstances, not to mention very repetitive.
And try to make him a little more... snarky, if you catch my drift. =)
Other then that, this is good. Please update soon.
