I confess you that I read it quite a lot time ago, sorry if I review it only now.
One of the things that I found so much very well done and professional is your particular style to putting together romantism, drama, grief and screwball humor and being able to make each of them credible and appropriate all over the others.
I like so much the particular way in which you continued the story and the various character's behaviour after the second tag-race! It's a very simple but at the same time unusual development in all the panorama of the fanfiction I read until now. Basically, all the characters (expecially Lum and Ataru) are pretty the same of ever with few changes! Ataru is the same stubborn, maniacal and funny jerk but a lot more sure of himself, fearless and, of course, very sensible to Lum's shifts of feelings; and her is the same naive, adorable, touchy alien sexy babe, with a lot more of malice, vengefulness and tenderness.
Although I feel in the same way they're a lot closer and more comfortable with each other presence. As it told me your super-nice final, even without love declarations and proposals of marriage, it was still a sweet and funny happy ending.
Very funny the characters you created by yourself too,I like too much Kalu, she's just. such. a. jerk.! She recalls me Ran.
I'm so very happy that you decided to create a sequel of this story, I could never stop reading "Urusei yatsura short story collection" most of the stories in there are really pearls!!

A last thing, in the fourth chapter of this story, "Ready for departure" the scene of Lum crying on Ataru's chest touched me deeply, so I wanted to do a fan art out of it(I'm a bit of a drawer), I'll show it to you to thank and compliment you for your nice fantasy. Keep on this!XDXDXD

I finally got around to catching up, still a very enjoyable story, and not one where I can predict where it is going.

I'm really enjoying this story so far, can't wait to see where it goes next.

Looks good so far, although I'm thinking Asuka on one of her panicked rampages on a spaceship might be a problem
